Volunteers Help Out at Horner Hill

( Last Updated: 15-02-2013 )

The Stockland Turbary Committee would like to say a big thank you to the all the willing volunteers who turned out on 30th January to help with the clearing work on Horner Hill and on Wednesday 13th February to help create the fire breaks and in clearing around the ruined cottages. The work was led by Toby Taylor of RSPB.

This vital work is part of ongoing activities that need to be carried out in order to improve and manage the unique habitats within the Stockland Turbaries.
