The Event: Sing and stroll at Otterhead Lakes

Dates: 06 May 17

Location: Otterhead Lakes, Otterhead, Somerset, TA3 7EE | Grid ref: ST 224 141

A singing walk at the serenely beautiful Otterhead Lakes. You don’t need to be an accomplished vocalist to join in – novices very welcome. Choir leader, Claire Anstee, will lead simple songs and rounds as we explore and discover the history of this enchanting nature reserve. Stroll and sing or simply enjoy the melodies and scenery.

We’ll start with a song at the coach house then take a short walk to admire the grounds and learn a little about the history of Otterhead Lakes. If you don’t feel able to walk the full route, you can make your way back to the coach house for refreshments. The impromptu choir will continue its melodic meander around the lakes returning to the coach house for a final song and refreshments at around 3.30pm.
