September 19th sees the launch of a visual and performing arts project that aims to break down borders.
The project originated as a response to Somerset Arts Weeks excluding the Devon members of the Blackdown Hills Artists and Makers (BHAAM). With help from the AONB Sustainable Development Fund, a series of exhibitions, installations, walks and events will explore the border between Somerset and Devon that crosses the Blackdown Hills.

The project will be launched at the Merry Harriers Inn, Clayhidon, from 2pm to 4pm, when you can collect your map and a passport which will be stamped at each border crossing event.
All the project events are listed in our events diary and you can find further information on the Blackdown Hills Artists and Makers' website: www.bhaam.org.uk
