The Event: Reptiles & Adder Survey Training

Dates: 20 Mar 16

Location: Hemyock Parish Hall, EX15 3QW

10:30 - 15:30

Join John Dickson from the Reptile and Amphibian Group for Somerset (RAGS) and the Blackdown Hills Natural Futures project to learn about native reptile species, how to identify suitable suitable habitat and how to spot adders. Training at Hemyock Parish Hall from 10:30 and then an afternoon searching for adders on nearby Blackdown Common.

After the training day participants can (if desired) help to survey sites across the AONB until the end of May to help with annual monitoring and recording of adder populations.
