The Event: Nightjar and bat hunt

Dates: 08 Jul 09

Location: Culmstock

Search for the elusive nightjar, with its strange song and display flight, on the open heath of Blackdown Common. Find bats by catching their echoing sounds on special bat detectors.  Walk led by Richard and Alison Whiteside.

8pm - 10pm

Cost: £4. Booking required.
