New North Eastern Blackdowns Circular Walks

The Blackdown Hills AONB and the Neroche Scheme have collaborated on the production of a new leaflet to promote Six Circular Walks in the north eastern Blackdown Hills.
Keen local walker and retired school teacher, Geoff Rickson, helped by walking the routes and writing the descriptions. A team of willing volunteers have tested the walks, which explore the northern scarp of the AONB from Blagdon to Thurlbear, within the Neroche Scheme area.
The leaflet is the fourth in the 'Six Circular Walks' series, which also features walks around Hemyock, Stockland and the south western Blackdowns. Get in touch with the AONB office on 01823 680681 or email blackdownhills@devon.gov.uk to request copies of any of the leaflets in the series.
