New AONB Spring – Summer 2010 Countryside Events

The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is delighted to present its latest programme of events. The Countryside Events programme contains a wide variety of activities in the area. This year is International Year of Biodiversity, so there are lots of events aimed at promoting an understanding of the rare and important species of plants, animals, insects and birds found in the Blackdown Hills. There are opportunities to try our most popular events, such as Stargazing, Family Bushcraft and Storytelling, as well as a chance to try something new, like Wildlife Gardening, Den Building, or scavenging for Wild Food.
