Working Our Woodlands is aimed at strengthening the links between owners and contractors in this area:
By linking woodland owners with contractors to create a sustainable long term supply of local wood fuel & other wood products;
By working with small and large woodland owners to maximize the management of their resource with advice on grants, felling licences, etc;
By compiling a directory of quality assured contractors within the area;
By "grouping" smaller woodlands to help reduce management costs and create an income for owners.
