Magical lakeside story walk for children this half term

Children can enjoy magical stories this February half term with a special event at Otterhead Lakes in the Blackdown Hills.

The 'Magic Lakes story walk' has been organised by the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Team.

Children aged 4 - 8 and their parents can join in with a fun winter walk around the beautiful lakes and woods of this former grand estate. Then the group will gather in the old coach house with warm drinks and biscuits for some enchanting stories. Story teller Clare Viner will weave tales from watery myths and woodland legends, including the children's own stories about the natural world.

'Magic Lakes' takes place on Wednesday 23 February, 10am - 12 noon. Booking for this event is essential.
