Leader+ was a European Union project which supported producers and small businesses in rural areas. Money from Leader+ helped communities to improve their economy and quality of life while respecting the environment and local heritage.
The four areas which we concentrated on were: food and drink; tourism and recreation; arts and crafts; woodland and forestry.
The Leader+ programme finished at the end of 2008.
