New guides to cycling and places to visit in the Blackdown Hills make it easier to enjoy getting out in the fresh air this new year.
Eight new cycle routes have been published on the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) website, along with new clickable maps showing historical sites and great places to spot wildlife.
The new bike rides are suitable for cyclists looking for challenging climbs, thrilling descents and the reward of wonderful views. They add to the existing series of walks and horse-riding routes available on the website.
There are also new maps showing great places to visit. Wildlife lovers can choose from a wide variety of nature reserves, woodlands, heath and grassland. Visitors looking for history will find plenty of interest, from ancient hill forts to Second World War sites.
