Farm fun for under fives this May bank holiday

( Last Updated: 25-04-2012 )

Young families can experience life on a working farm and meet the springtime babies at a special event near Taunton this May bank holiday.

Farmers Nick and Ruth Strange are welcoming under fives to their traditional farm at Churchinford in the Blackdown Hills. Visitors will meet chicks, piglets, calves and new-born lambs, and help to collect eggs from the farm's chickens, ducks and geese. There will be a fun quiz to help pre-schoolers learn about the animals, and farm produce will be on sale.
