Discover the Forest near Taunton with Wild Learning

Wild Learning is a project being run under the banner of an exciting new Social Enterprise called Neroche Woodlanders.  It is being run by a friendly bunch of Forest School leaders and Bushcraft people who love being in the woods.  They work with schools, youth groups and adults in the local area.   The project’s base is at Young Wood is only 2 miles from Taunton and the 99a bus stops nearby.  There is help with transport.

There are various activities on offer this Spring, funded through Somerset Skills and Learning’s Neighbourhood Learning Fund,  including:

 Join In Volunteering  Help to look after Young Wood and come along to  ‘Join In’ Volunteering days on Weds 27th Feb, 27th March, 17th March from 10am-3pm.  You will learn new skills with a friendly team and get to spend time with nature.

 Families in the Forest Families can come along and discover, explore and play in the lovely wild woods.  Saturdays, 16th , 23rd  March and 6th April.

Just Adults Regular, friendly sessions to learn camp-craft, whittling, tracking and caring for the woods.  Come to four sessions or more to gain a John Muir Environmental Award.
