Community engagement contract invitation to tender

 We are currently inviting tenders for a community engagement contract as part of the Blackdown Hills Natural Futures project (BHNF), a three year community wildlife project supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and other supporters.

Over the three-year lifetime of the project 15 community nature projects will be developed that will focus on habitat creation and management on areas of publicly accessible land such as village greens, playing fields, school grounds and churchyards, and on raising local awareness of the value of natural heritage. 

The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to undertake community engagement activities across 8 parishes in the AONB during the first phase of this BHNF work during 2015/16.

The budget available for this first phase of work is in the region of £9000. The deadline for completion of this contract will be 30th June 2016.
