Combe Wood Coppicing Volunteering Starts Up In October

Come and join the ranger team carrying out

woodland management work in Combe Wood.

Tasks including hazel coppicing, cherry laurel

removal and brash burning to encourage woodland

wildlife including bluebells and dormice.    

Meet every fortnight on a Tuesday starting 8 October

until the end of March 10am-3pm 

Limited parking at the site. Please meet at entrance

gates to Combe Wood, Grid ref ST 162 017    

Tools provided. Bring a packed lunch and suitable

outdoor clothing.
