Carols under the stars

( Last Updated: 22-11-2016 )

Carol singing at Wellington Monument

Friday 2 December, 7.30–9pm

Get that festive feeling at ‘Carols under the stars’, an evening of carol singing at Wellington Monument. This joyful event, organised by the Blackdown Hills AONB Partnership and the National Trust, will mark the finale of a year of events celebrating the Blackdown Hills’ 25th anniversary as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

An avenue of roman candles will light the path to this iconic landmark, while a toasty bonfire will keep everyone warm as they sing. Members of the Blackdown Community Choir will be leading the Christmas singing. Mince pies and mulled wine will be on sale thanks to Smeatharpe Women’s Institute.

Wrap up warm and please bring a torch.

The event is free, but weather dependent. So if the weather is poor on the night, please check the our events calendar before setting off.
