The Event: Bumblebee Identification - FULLY BOOKED

SORRY - EVENT FULLY BOOKED Join the Bumblebee Conservation Trust for an introductory workshop on the art of bumblebee identification. Come and learn the basics on how to identify these fascinating creatures, and go away being able to tell your bees from your wanna-bees!

This workshop will introduce you to the ecology of bumblebees, and provide guidance on how to help conserve these amazing insects. We will help you to focus your eye in on the important differentiating characteristics between each of the common species during the classroom session in the morning, followed by some practical hands-on identification out in the field in the afternoon. Minimum age 12 (accompanied by an adult)

Cost: Free (including refreshments and cream tea!). Bring a picnic lunch. Places are limited so booking is essential.
