The Blackdown Hills Beer and Music Festival takes place this year on August 14th & 15th. It was born in 1996 to raise money to enable schools and local communities to offer opportunities for making music. Each year it gives out substantial grants.
A range of local ales and ciders can be sampled and live music and other entertainment for all the family is included. Camping is available nearby. For more information check out the festival website.
